You might try Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Hunting, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes — MidwayUSA.

That is one great little powder measure! I have the old Pacific measure made in pre-Hornady days and it uses the same inserts. I've probably loaded 200,000++ rounds with that little measure and it is a shame Hornady discontinued it.

I had one and foolishly let it go. Really liked the ease of just popping in the correct bushing for a given load. I don'tchange loads all the time so bushings were perfect and easy to make or modify on my lathe as necessary.

Just FYI, I recently got a Little Dandy with one of B.B's adjustable rotors & have used it a little to test out. It's MUCH better than getting all the fixed rotors. My load called for 4.7 grains of H Universal(9mm). My charges varied .1 grain once in a while. Of course one would not easily know how 'centered' you are with the 4.7 charge. I did weigh about each charge until I was sure of it.

You do have to adjust the rotor some until you get the correct charge but it can be done easily from the bottom. There may be a more handy small capacity measure but if one has a 'little dandy' you should spring for the adjustable rotor. I like it mounted on a stand.

Default Re: LDAR

I found my LDAR to be especially useful for a dedicated load. Dial it in for the load, measure it every now and then or when changing powder lots and tweak it as necessary, and crank 'em out. I haven't touched my other rotors since I picked up the LDAR.

One thing I did to improve the LDAR was to make the knob a bit easier to hold on to by wrapping it with a few pieces of 700x23C road bike tire innertube, which gave the operating end a larger diameter and a tackier feel. Other than that, it's been pretty good.

When I want to jump back and forth between other loads, that's where my Uniflow with its Micrometer Adjustment Screw upgrade comes in handy.

Check Ebay and some of the online auction sites. Somebody usually has some listed and don't overlook listings for those made by Pacific. Pacific came out with the predecessor of the Hornady measure and they both use the same bushings.

You might try Lock stock and Barrel in Valentine Neb. they used to sell a lot of Hornaday equipment and they might still have one. I have one that I use but I have had it for many years and make my own bushings and bore them until I get what I want. Scratch Lock stok and barrel I truied them and they are closed. Jeff www.lockstock.com Maybe they will be back.

Thank you for the mini review guys. I still have one of the final prototypes in my Little Dandy but I prefer to move it over each case and never take them out of the loading block. Personal preferences are wonderful.... Also, Midway makes an oversized "thingy" that goes over the knurled end and fastens with a set screw that I hear works well to accomplish the same thing.
