Default Need help with load info

Recently acquired 500 pcs of 105 gr LSWC to use for loading in 38 spcl. My load manuals do not show any info for this bullet. I have two powders to choose from Titegroup and W231. Can anyone help with starting load info. Much appreciated.

From the Lyman Reloading Handbook, 49th edition:

For a 120 gr bullet plain-base bullet, for WW231 it lists 3.4 gr (693 fps) as a starting load and 5.1 for a normal max load (986 fps). 5.4 gr for a +P max load (1036 fps).

For the same bullet, using Titegroup, it lists 3.8 to start (900 fps) and 4.3 for max (1014 fps). No +P max given.

They list CCI500 as the primer used with Federal cases.

Based solely on weight it sounds more like a 9mm bullet than a 38 Spl. to me.
You'll need to check the dia. - if .356 then a 9mm if .358 then it is a 38 Spl.[sounds really light to me]. Just my $0.02!

Lee makes a mould for a .357 cal. 105 gr. LSWC. I'd start with cp1969's data and work up from the starting load.

I know Lees 105 gr.'ers worked very well in a 9mm too, so if you have one you might give it a try there too.

These were made on the Lee mold as Jellybean pointed out. I do not own a 9mm so will be using these in S&W 586.
