I'm loading all my 455 Webley on the single stage using the #5 Lee shell holder. I thought it would be nice to load some on my progressive press, but Hornady does not have a shell plate for 455 Webley.
In looking at the other cartridges shown for the #5 shell holder in my Lee kit, I noticed they are very similiar to the ones shown for the Hornady #5 shellplate. The cartridge dimensions are also very similiar. It looks like it should work, but I can't be sure since I don't own that plate.
I'm wondering if anyone has loaded 455 Webley with the Hornady #5 shellplate. I hate to buy the plate if it won't work for the 455 Webley because all the other cartridges listed for that plate are for rifles I do not load for.
