I have PMC and Blazer brass in probably all calibers. The only problem I have had is with 223 rifle as it has a crimped in primer so to reload that I would need to remove the crimp which is a pain, even though I have a die to do it. I just use other brass for the 223.
But for handguns, no problems works fine for me.

I have reloaded both PMC and Blazer Brass. No problems, at all with PMC, actually have had very good luck with it in .38, .45 ACP, and 9mm.
I've had some issues loading Blazer in 9mm. Some of the cases not fit well in the shell holder, seems like inconsistent rim thickness, or maybe a little warped. Anyway, only happens once and a while, and I just throw out the case.

Same here. Just primed 500 9MM today. Some were Blazer & some IMI. IMI have a tight primer pocket but with care they reprime fine.

The only brass I seem to have problems is S&B. The primer pocket seems to be straight out with no taper on the edge. Often trying to seat new primers they get caught on the edge.

PMC brass seems a bit thicker than other commercial brass, a little more difficult to resize, but it seems to last and last.
CCI Blazer? Do you mean the aluminum case, Berdan (European 2 hole) primed "brass"? I thought that stuff has a specific warning not to reload.

I have used PMC and Blazer brass in 9mm, 38 Special and 40 S&W. The only brass I discard outright is AMERC. One also has to be careful when reloading S&B brass as often the primer pockets are a bit snug.

I have PMC in 357 and I am very impressed by how well they are holding up.
I got them second hand from a bloke who had shot them many times and I have probably loaded them more than 15 times.
I have been trying to buy a new batch but they are no longer available here in Australia.

No problems with PMC .38 spl. It reloads just fine.
PMC .223 doesn't fit in the Lee shell holder. At least the 100 I have don't fit, but as always YMMV (your mileage may vary).

I bought a batch of PMC once fired 357 brass and it's holding up fine. Never seen much Blazer brass.

Good to know. My latest batch of .45ACP pickups is heavy with PMC.
Blazer, Speer, Federal & some others have larger flash holes. I've been told this has zero effect on performance but boy... that sure goes against all logic...
I get a lot of S&B, too. Definitely snug primer pockets but zero problems so far...

Blazer comes in two flavors, the aluminum ones and Blazer Brass, which are brass.

I just twist the deburring tool in the primer pocket a few turns. This knocks the edge off the primer pocket.

I have never seen the "brass" variety of Blazer ammo. Is it Boxer (US single hole) or Berdan primed (European 2 hole)?
I have shot CCI brass many times, but I have never seen brass marked "Blazer".

Have two 50 round boxes of empty 45 ACP Blazer Brass. Bought one last winter. Those pieces of brass have large pistol primers.
My shooting buddy shot a box yesterday that he bought this week. Gave me the empties. They have small pistol primers.
I have a theory as to "What gives?" since I've already shot, re-loaded and shot again my 50 rounds of large-primered Blazers. The heads (the flat area around the primer) seemed concave after I seated the primers, meaning that the head seems to "give" a little from the pressure exerted by the primer seating stem. My concern was that the firing pin wouldn't reach the primer, a concern which proved not to be a problem. They all ignited and no difference in accuracy was noticed. However, these loads were NOT chronoed for comparison with other loads.......
It's my thought that someone griped to CCI for selling apparently weak-headed brass that resulted in ugly re-loads, soooooooo, in order to increase the amount of supporting brass surrounding the primer, they simply went to a small pistol primer in the newer rounds, if, indeed, rounds bought in July are necessarily new and improved versions of those bought in Dec.
I have NOT reloaded any of the empties that were given to me so I can't compare them with the concave bases of my large-primered Blazer Brass.
There! How's that for country boy reasoning?
Anyone have a different theory?

Not really, but I'm glad I'm not hallucinating!
I've been coming across quite a bit of CCI & Speer concaved bases while sorting.
I'm sorting by headstamp & will probly have a report eventually on any misfires, etc.
RE the small primers, I would think that pressure on a small area nearer the center (small primer) would tend to distort the base more than a larger area with the edges of the hole nearer the edges of the base.
Read a report that found the small primered .45 actually performed a bit better than large in some cases...
