I have about 8 lbs. of 452. Looking for loading data for a hand cast 45 ACP Lyman 200 gr. swc. Got several hits off the internet. I know it is temp sensitive. Do have some old fliers that Winchester put out. Put 5.0, 5.2, @5.4 gr downrange and so far the 5.2 gr. is the best. Anybody have any pet loads? Would also be loading for 38 special, and mid range 357 loads. 150 gr LSWC and 155 gr. GC.

I only have two pet loads for 452-AA, 45 ACP 5.2gr, standard primer under a 200gr H&G and 44 special 5.5gr, standard primer under a 240gr LSWC, both loads are very accurate for me.

One of my all time favorite 38spl loads is with the 452aa. A light load of 3.2gr with 150/158gr cast bullets. This load stacks the bullets on top of each other at 50ft with 3 different pistols.

I have the remains of an 8# keg that I used to trapshoot with and now use in 9MM, 45 ACP, 38 WC and have loaded in 22 Remington Jet as a light load with cast 225107 bullet. I dont know what I will do when its used up. I bought this keg about 77 or 78. Jeff

5.2gr. of 452 worked great for me over a 200gr. H&G68, Loaded thousands for many years, but beware it is temp sensitive, the velocity decreases when the temp goes up.
We use to put the ammo in a plastic baggy and then in a cooler or ice before the chronograph check.
It was extremely consistent, a very small variation in fps spread.

I think somebody was an IPSC shooter! Yeah I used to "ice da ammo" until I switched to WST.

5.3 gt 452 behind a 200 gr H&G cast bullet. Great major caliber round. Hated it when it was discontinued. Now use WST. 5.5 gr. and get near the same results.
