Lets see your reloading benches
I just got a ''new'' bench. A office in town was replacing there old ones. Its the old school desk with the hard wood top. Weights in the 150 pound range.

Here's mine it is my woodworking bench. It now has drawers so it weighs about 300 pounds. I just bolt my press to the bench.

Howdy
This photo is a few years old. There is a different lube sizer now, and a big fancy progressive shotshell press at the far right position, but this will give you a fair idea of my little corner of reloading heaven.
And if you think it is always this neat, I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I am interested in selling.

OK, I'll play. Here's my man cave in the basement, about 200 sq. ft..
Loading bench is framed in 2" sq. steel tube, full welded frame and bolted to the block wall behind. It ain't move'n. the center table is now topped in stainless steel to match the others. When you're in the sheet metal business, that's what you do.

loading benches
SOCAL S&W....
Thats an interesting shot hopper setup, what size ball valve, hopper, drop nozzle, and does the thing pivot away from the shot bottle? Does the shot make the valve difficult to move? My 8000h gets me every once in a while if Im not paying attention. I can see myself climbing up to fill the hopper and getting mugged by a bag of shot.

Actually, the hopper is on a pulley so that I can lower it to fill. It holds near 100# and also has a safety chain on it. Since the loader is not mounted to the bench, it's mounted to a plate on two pipes that slide into two pipes mounted below the benchtop, I simply remove the loader to lower the hopper and away we go.
The ball valve never has jammed and is a 3/4" full-port. I use a couple of metallic conduit connectors and a short piece of hose to connect to the bottle. I installed a hose connector through the hole in the top/bottom of the shot bottle.
Most folks think that I did it for maximum speed and quantity. I actually did it to save myself lifting shot bags and breathing the lead that's next to my head when filling the bottle.

I used some cabinets from an old entertainment center as a start. Made the tops out of 2 layers of MDF and then put on a Formica top.
I put in some t-track to hold the reloading press.
I mounted the press on a double piece 3/4" plywood so I can clamp it using the t-track hold downs when needed.
I made a step stool to sit on. I expanded the dimensions so that my entire butt would fit.
You can not see it but there is a shooboy hammer hanging on the pegboard.

Heres a picture of my new set up. I am just got it and am trying to set it up. It looks messy because I am still moving in on it. The SL900 on the left isnt bolted down yet. I just bolted the 650 down. The ceiling is a bit low in the basement so the feeder bowls have to fit between the joists... Lots of items need homes still, its a pain but a fun project to do.
The bench is great its a Lista work station with two draw units solid maple butch block top and has the shelf unit with powered risers. Its a very expensive unit, but I got it used at a fire sale for a price that I couldn't say no to

Marksman, in your first photo you have a tool box on the bench. It looks nice, is it a Gerstner or perhaps a Union. Do you know what it was made for it has nice big draws and seems like you could carry it easily. I saw a few with small draws made for dentists. I like old tool boxes

No picture but think of an enclosed bench with doors for storage and it is mounted on wheels to enable moving from room to room if desired or need the space for something else at the time.

Compact but it works well for me. My removable priming tool & powder stand combo works great and saves space for the work bench.

Got mine indoors now, a 'space of my own'. My components, dies, and other equipment are all in the cabinets and a closet. I have a "kit" made up for each cartridge I reload in plastic storage boxes, and just get out the one I need for that reloading session.
You can see my old Dillon and new Redding turret on the bench to the right. The countertop to the left side is for cleaning, smithing, and general piddling about. There's also a TV on the wall you can't see. Pretty comfortable little cave, I like it. Just need more time to spend there.

I had a very similar set up while I lived in an apartment. Everything fitted in or bolted on a tool chest. When I wasn't reloading it all just rolled into a closet.

Here is mine that I am still getting set up. Just got in the upright position this past weekend. Just have to figure out placement of equipment and add some storage shelves, bins. Thinking of mounting the press on the right side, between the brace and the end, then using a RCBS Accessory plate, to mount my Uniflow measure and Automatic Bench Primer between the middle braces, and keeping the left open for cleaning.

I finally broke out the old ramshakle desk that is held together
with many extra screws and remounted enough of the stuff
to put together some 44 ammo the other day. This was my loading desk for many years at another location. I don't have
room to mount the rifle rest on it here. I also used to have another desk mounted to the side.

WOW!
2 Questions:
1)How many people are employed here?
2)How many shifts do you run?
(Just kidding, quite impressive)

Just me. I tend to go for marathon sessions of 10-12 hours, especially when the weather's lousy.
My biggest gripe is the dearth of gang molds available. That's one area of reloading that's gotten considerably WORSE in the last 35 years. Wish H&G were still in business...

I think I may have added a few die sets since this was taken.
and maybe a few more jugs of powder than this one.
The other end has this casting gear.
and it all has a lot more clutter now!

I run my machine a few hours every other week or so and this makes all the ammunition I have time to shoot.
You guys manufacturing for sale or getting ready for the zombie apocalypse?

No doubt. Some of these guys look like they are set up better than some of the stores I shop at. And to think my bench is made from yellow pine 2x4’s and some plywood. But hey, it works. This is from my 9mm loading marathon. I have no idea how many that is. And yes those are concrete blocks. They help keep everything steady.

I see you're using a Lee cast iron classic turret. I have one, in addition to a Hornady LNL AP, and find I use the Lee more than the Hornady. I don't do a lot of marathon loading, so the Lee usually get's the call, even more so than the Rock Chucker.

I don't sell ammo but I shoot a lot and I run a weekly shooting school (which mostly uses .22rf and 9mm) that burns up some of the ammo I load.
