I was at a local industrial supply house browsing around and ran across these calipers and thought that I needed them for my reloading bench. They were just $40, and of course they're made in China, but something about them just caught my eye...

I have checked them for accuracy and they agree with my Brown & Sharpe dial calipers, and they're much more repeatable than than Mitutoyo plastic digital calipers.

These calipers are all made by the same manufacturer, as far as I can tell, and sold under different labels. Prices vary from $18.50 on Midway to much higher. Very good product though and plenty accurate for the reloading bench. I like the S&W logo on yours.

The cheap ones work for a while, wore mine out, should've just bought a good pair to begin with, cheaper in the long run. But everybody wants something for nothing.

Was it MSC or Grainger? If so, I need a pair of them!

The S&W logo is pretty cool on them!

The pair I am using now, I got from Harbor Freight, digital 6" & came with an extra battery, $20 or so.

They work just fine. Yours should too. Those Brown & Sharpe, how much were they? Yeah, that's what I thought! ;)

I sent you a PM.

Other than the color, they look exactly the same as my Frankfurter Arsenal from Midway (they are Blue) and have been working for years.

I like yours better.:)

Where did you get them. You can post it here, it's not forbidden

I got them at Industrial Bearing Supply in Dalton, GA. It is affilliated with "Do it Best" If you surf to their website, their e-mail address is wrong, so call them. Do it Best is a chain, maybe your local branch has them, but they're not shown on the website.

Thanks. Its a hardware store chain. We have one here

Just searched and they are available on Flea Bay for those who may shop there.

They're identical to mine too, except the logo and the $24 price difference.

I can get a bunch of them and glue a picture of the Ruger logo on them and sell them on their forum, those guys will buy anything. Of course I could also do the same thing on the Glock forum but I'd have to buy the plastic calipers.

Since mine are Blue, I could mark them Dillon and charge way more!:D

There's a Ruger forum?

You're right. I've been using the $10 Centech from Harbor Freight for two years & it hasn't even used up the original battery.

Next time I'll get a B&S or Mitutoyo.

1. Paint it black, put a "G**** Tactical" sticker on it.
2. Triple the price.
3. Profit.

Says the guy who would happily pay double for a Centech with a S&W logo on it... :D
