Default 1st Impression: M629 5" deserves 5 stars

Wow! Balance, ergonomics, control, and when matched with Winchester 210gr. Silver Tips, is a marriage made in heaven. This may be the best, smoothest, revolver/cartridge combo I've ever tried. And talk about accuracy, that's a 10! Overall, it's so buttery smooth, I could shoot this gun all day, especially with the rubber, Hogue finger grips. So nice, yet so powerful.

Please don't believe me, think I'm delusional, cause all of these models (new or used) will now be in short supply:-)

Do others agree or am I dreaming?

I believe my M629s deserve 5 stars also: 8-3/8", 7-1/2", 6-1/2", 5", and 3" barrels. Most accurate load is 240 grain lead SWC with 13 grains of Unique -- right sporty shooting in the 3". All 5 have unfluted cylinders.

Yep, the 5" Classic is one fine revolver. It's the perfect compromise of weight and barrel length. I need to take mine out to play more often.
