load for 44 Mag. in rifle
I gust bought a M-94 lever action in 44 Mag. 20 in barrell it was made in 1971 any won have a good load i have 240 gr HP bullits

I suggest getting a good manual and use WW-296 or H-110 as listed in the manual.

I can tell you from experience that what seems to be a moderate load in a handgun can give your shoulder a jolt in a rifle.

What brand of Model '94? If it is a Marlin, I have some suggestions for sure!

It is a Winchester M-94 made in 1971

In my Ruger #3 I use the same load with 240 gr JHPs that I use in my
Ruger Super Blackhawk and Redhawk, 24.0-24.5 grs of W296. I get a
little over 1800 fps in the 22" barrel of the #3.
