Anybody know what that is ? The headstamp has "Ammoload" and "9mm Luger". The primer pocket is kind of slopped and there's some kind of re-enforcement (?) skirt inside. I was processing my range pickup (after ruining couple Fed primers) through the swager and noticed that with this brass I have to use BOTH hands to jam the ram, so I've decided to just ditch it. It was the tightest primer pocket of all much worse than WCC 12 or FC brass. Google didn't reveal anything, so I am asking great community here if anybody can shed some light on it ?

Managed to take pictures of the case:

Thanks, Cdog, it looks like the only match. I wonder what's with the case re-enforcement inside, for +P, but headstamp doesn't mention it...

Do you have alot of police or military shooters at your range? I live within spitting distance of 5 bases. And I always find some nato rounds left behind at the range. Maybe it's something like that.

Makes you wonder if it may have been developed for a tubular magazine?

That internal pic looks like something to prevent bullet set back.

I ran across a bunch of this brass today at Shiloh Shooting Range in Houston. Anyone have any info on it? From what I gathered in the above posts it's not suitabe for reloading. Any information?

It is reloadable. In my case primer pockets were really tight and I wasn't sure what the reenforcement for. But I did reload few cases and it worked fine.

Some of it just turned up at our club range in King George VA last week. Being a non repentant hull and brass whore the first thing I do at every visit is walk around our ranges to see if anyone left any freebe's. Found about 25 or so on one range so I brought them home. After one hard look at the cases I decided that they were not worth it even for me.

Sloped, or slopped? Anybody can have their custom headstamp on brass, if you order enough. I believe Starline used to. The primer flash hole is pretty sloppy, a large burr and that internal ring is new to me, but I'd say mebbe brass is designed for sub-machine gun ammo where the cartridge gets slammed around quite a bit; to keep the bullet in place during recoil/feeding...

I found 10 cases. They weigh 65 grains and are super thick. I'll develop some data if you guys send me that brass. I'll trade you Win or RP if you want.

Funny that this comes up as I too found one over at the gravel pit in Arizona. Never saw one before but didn't look inside - will have to go thru a bucket of brass to see if I can fetch it out.

Part of the multi-billion round classified buy for the Fanny May and Ginnie Mac mortgage payment enforcement division. The extra strong case is for super-high velocity rounds needed by FM and GM agents repossessing high value properties from well barricaded defaulting owners. The rounds can only be fired (currently) from the super-secret Raufoss developed FMGM helicoid pistol. Raufoss was building a domestic manufacturing plant for the rounds and the pistol in Colorado but the new gun laws there are forcing Raufoss to reconsider. Gov. Perry is lobbying for a Texas contract. See here for more info:

I would have send it, moxie, but I only had like a dozen cases and just recycled them.
