Hello: I see that Widener's has WPA Small pistol primers at a good price. I've used Tula Small pistol primers for .38 special target loads w/ HP-38 -no problems.. Has anyone used the WPA primers? Thank you for your time and expertise.

WPA primer, I'm not sure what primers you're asking about? If you're asking about Winchester primers they are excellent. If you're talking about Wolf primers they are on par with Tula.

Welcome to the forum...

Personally throughout my 30+ years of reloading I've always stuck to the 4 major brands and have never had any issues. My first choice is Federal but I will now buy which ever (Fed. Win. Rem. CCI) is either available or the least expensive.

I have not heard any major problems with Wolf or Magtech, just never used 'em.

I've used Wolf primers in both small and large pistol and they all went bang. And got em from Wideners. (they're local to me)
