Good luck with that powder...........
It did not work out to well in my 6" magnum but some have mentioned that it has done well for them.
Just seemed too slow for my needs..........

Try here: 357 Magnum Load Data - Handloads.Com
If you can't find IMR4227 load data you can use H4227 load data as a starting point.
From what I've read IMR4227 is no more and H4227 is now labeled IMR4227. (but I could be wrong)

Hmmmmm.....
Speer #14 doesn't list it. I was going to look in my Lyman 49th, but I put it down somewhere and can't find it.

It was used a lot many years ago and had a lot of data for it.....
but over the years the data for 4227 has been fading away and
the 2014 Hodgdon data does not list it for the 9mm or other loads that has been posted in the past.
I get the impression that it will be a "Magnum" or large caliber powder only the way the books are being printed.
True it is not the BEST in the 9mm or short case 38 special but if it was all that you had you could survive.
It has been kicked around a little about how it works with the .357 magnum "Small case" ammo and the larger .41 caliber cases or larger.... even small rifle cases.
Most of my loads have done their best at or near the top loadings........but I never tested any compressed loads.
Good shooting.
