"one 9 oz jug today too"
as a high-volume powder that loads a lot of 45s!!!
not the same as the high-density powders that load a zillion per pound
I prefer to think of my Trail Boss as loading xx number of rounds 'per quart'......
according to a cost/calculator I use,
my loads of Trail Boss 45LC are in the range of $0.154/each~7.70/50~$153.90/000
Loads of Tite Group/38s are in the range of $0.124/each~6.18/50~$123.57/000
I don't see that as being much of a premium considering caliber size differences.
While different variables can be entered, I use "0" for cases as I reload; and I used '$28/000' for primers for both large &small.
I entered current local casters charge for 250g 45 & 130g 38. YMMV.
