Default Thank you guys for the help. Settled on a .45 load

Hello guys,

Thanks for all the help over the last few days for this new reloader. The load that is working well for me is:

4.5gr IMR 700x
230gr RMR plated bullet
Federal 150 LG pistol primer
Mixed brass ( mostly Federal)
1.248 OAL

I loaded up 100 rds yesterday and fired them today at the range. My Les Baer TRS and Kimber Ultra CDP ate them up and were quite accurate. This is at the lowest loading, so I still have room to move if I like, but everything cycled like it should have except for two occasions where the TRS slide did not return to full battery. It is still a very tight gun with less than 1000 rounds through it.

8 shots, 10 yds, benched.

7yds 8 shots benched

Kimber Ultra CDP 7yds benched

Well with the Les Baer you should be able to shoot rocks in it and get tiny groups!

Nice. Looks like it shoots to the sights.

Do you have any idea what the velocity is?
