Default CFE Pistol, 9mm Poly-coated...

Anybody have an experience using a combination of hodgdon CFE pistol with a poly coated bullet in 9mm? Specifically a 124 grain poly coated round nose from Better Bullets. Can't find any data for PC bullets....

Thanks!

coated runs the same as its hard cast counterpart for the most part.
if you lack that, use plated data. If you lack that, use FMJ data.
no load from a 9MM will break the back of any of the modern coatings

Hodgdons maximum CFE load of 5.5grs with a 124gr RN (fmj)
plated bullet out of a 3" Kahr runs 1107 fps with a ES of 31 in
the pistol I tested.

5.0grs at only 931 with the plated bullet was the most accurate
of all my loads in this short barrel.

It can work but lower than 5.0 grs. will start to get the cases pretty dirty...........
