Default 180gr 10MM= .40 S&W 180gr?

I see 10MM and 40 S&W listed together in many places as using the same bullet. Other times they are listed not together. Can I use 180 gr Hornady HAP projectiles labeled as 10MM for the 40S&W loads? As far as I can tell they are identical projectiles.

Thanks in advance.

Matt
