I buy from Graingers. I think the grit is listed as 10-40, comes in a 40 pound bag.

I get this. It is $5 shipping delivered to your door cost 35.00 for 40 pounds. They have a little fine grit if you want that, I do not think there is much difference but the slightly heavier maybe cleans better. So it is around $1 per pound and will last you a long long time. I have a bag of each grit.
Harbor frieght has Walnut at their stores and is cheaper than pet store reptile bedding. Corn shines better, By local Northern does not carry the corn.
Value Brand Blast Media, Corn Cob, 14 to 20 Grit 526020G-40 | Zoro.com
Reloading media say, Lymans is the same just more expensive and some is plain, some has a polish added. Just use any media polish or Car Polish llike Nu Finish.

What he said. I've got so much I use it as oil absorbent under a leaky car.

Zoro.com is the best price I have seen, same as Rule3 posted. I use the fine 20-40 as it clears the primer pockets without sticking and its 5 bucks less for the fine grit. Still have 25 Lbs left in my 40 Lb bag. Best prices on shipping too.

Check out a local welding supply house in your area. If they sell grit blasting equipment they may sell corn cob media as well. Way cheaper than buying the bottled stuff from Lyman or one of the other reloading companies. When I worked in a liquified natural gas plant we used walnut media on a 6000 hp turbine that drove a natural gas compressor. They had an inlet on the suction side and you removed the pipe cap and held up a gallon can of the stuff. It would suck up the walnut like 1-2-3 and when you went back into the control room you could see the difference in efficiency. Frank
