Default Powder characteristics

Is there a data base listing the characteristics of the various powders? Things like; amount of flash, clean burning, metering ability, volume per weight, etc. I know there lists of powder by burn rate, but the only place you see the other things is in the manufacturers descriptions.

Some reloading handbooks, like the Speer, have a good section on powder, its characteristics and a burn rate chart. Also lots of pictures of the different types.

There are a lot of variables involved and the properties you are asking for can change based on these variables. For example, powder burn rate can change with the amount of charge. Powder A might burn faster than powder B at minimum loads whereas powder B might burn faster at maximum loads. Some powders are known to be "dirty" at minimum load levels yet they are "clean" at maximum loads. Metering is another question - generally spherical powders meter nicely, flake powders fair, and cylindrical powders not so well.
