Default 9mm 135gr test

Went out and tried the 135gr for the second time.
Groups were within the minimum and maximum fps but
still need to be tested one to two more times to find its potential.
I have a LOT of Green Dot and am hoping for a miracle........
Later.

Did the final test today................. Monday, 5/23/2016
five at an oal of 1.14" and five with a oal of 1.16"

Green Dot did not pan out as well as the CFE powder that did well in each test.
I just have to shoot one more test with the CFE loading in the 1.14 and 1.16" lengths
to see which is the one I will be using for my target ammo.

I did learn that these did shoot better than the 125gr coated bullets, so it looks like the
"Old style" plated bullets will be used for a while.

Later.

Sorry if I missed earlier info Ed, but have you tried various loads of green dot? Overall length changes?

Have to say, red dot looks like the winner there so far.

FWIW, I've settled on Clays to push 130 gr plated bullets in my 9mms. Some would argue it's not the best choice but it works well for me.

The 135gr did well in my short barrel 9mm.

Best fps accuracy came with a pf 113 in the 1.14 & 1.16" OAL.

I did not test Bullseye but Red Dot and CFE worked for my light
target loads and HS-6 gave the top fps with this weight bullet.

I will not post on this bullet weight again.........
two threads, 200 looks and only one reply........
must not be needed in the ranks?

Will be going back to finish up on the 115gr bullet.
