Unknown Cast .45cal
I bought 500 of these .452" 230gr BB LRN at a small gun show recently but the seller didn't know the manufacturer.
Any idea who's bullets?
They were in bags of 100 and nothing else.At $35 / 500 I though I couldn't lose.
I use 230gr LRN in my 45 Colt over 7.0gr of Unique or 8.0gr of BE-86 for punching holes in paper.

They appear to be a current offering from Missouri bullets.
If they are NOS then maybe they came from the Western Nevada bullet company.

I thought they look similar to the X-treme X45-230RN-B0500

Yes those look the same but Missouri bullets are less expensive.
$16 dollars less than X-treme for 500. At $35 per 500 you win.
Good to know for future reference. Six grains of Bullseye is cleaner but Unique is always good to go.

Nearly all cast bullet makers use molds from either Magma or Master Cast. As a result these bullets could be from nearly any cast bullet maker! The only thing that distinguishes one maker from another is the lube they use, and many use the same blue lube that is pictured! The exception to this is what is more correctly referred to as "Custom Casters", among which is Beartooth Bullets.
Google "Cast Bullets" and simply pick the cheapest, they will be the same as most others.

Most of the cast bullets sold today come from the Magma automatic
casting machines and are of the standard line of Magma offerings. So
even though there are minor differences in the finished product due
to a variety of reasons the bullets all basically look pretty much alike.
The seller may have bought them in large quantities and sold them
in bags of 100 to make a profit. Probably came from some unknown
caster rather than one of the well known makers who markets them
directly but there's really no way to know.

Considering many commercial bullet casters are probably using the same or similar bullet molds it will be hard to tell which made those bullets. Even the lube doesn't give it away since there are only 2 or3 popular lubes and they all come in similar colors.
All that said, if they shoot well you got a great deal. I see your problem though, if they do shoot well how do you buy more?
They do look very similar to those made by the MBC but like I said, they aren't the only company using that mold.
