Question favorite recipes for .380 RNL needed

Everybody seemed so happy a while back loading up .380 lead RN, so I've gathered components ready for action.

Now I can't find the thread with those sweet recipes!

I don't recall if my cast lead boolits are 90 or 95 grain, didn't buy any FMJ this time around. It's been about 15 years since I last wrassled with this tiny caliber.

Have Universal Clays/Titegroup/WSF/WST/AutoComp/Bullseye/a few others on hand.

I'd appreciate some decent recipes if you want to share them.

It's not lead but I like 4.2 grains of AA#5 pushing a 100 grain plated round or flat nose. Shouldn't be too far off from lead, maybe a tenth or two of a grain. Check where you purchase your components and usually they have free booklets from Alliant, Western, and Hogdon giving most of their reloading data. You can also go on line and request the data for a specific powder and bullet in each caliber.

I've never handloaded the .380 as of yet although I may someday.
There's no shortage of cast bullet .380 data and I would suggest you
suscribe to Handloader magazine and buy some up to date manuals. 231 seems to be the top powder for the .380 but since you have Bullseye try 2.4-3.0 grs.

Do yourself a big favor.... Buy the old fashioned Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. I know information on printed pages is soooo old school , but all the info you seek is right there. Loads have been tested and are safe.
The stuff you get off the net has absolutely no safe guards . Not everything posted on the net is true or accurate.
Load safe...buy a manual.

thanks, managed to come up with a couple winners, pleasant/reliable/will do paper test next week, but all the falling plates noticed they were suitably 'dinged'....
