Default Lee Bench Auto primer

I prime my brass one at a time, no progressive loaders for me. I previously used a Lee hand primer, but, that starts hurting my hand after just a few times. So, I got a Lee bench mounted auto primer. This works great! Very little leverage is needed to seat any primer and it's fast. Sometimes tho the primers will get stuck and not feed right. No problem, just use a bent paper clip to dislodge the rascal. Plus it's way less expensive than other brands.

I have been using the Lee for acouple of years on my 30-06 but find that the small pistol primer jammed to much so I just orered a RCBS hand primer for 9mm.

I got my Lee Bench Prime about when they first came out. My first session was just fair, so I reread and followed the directions. Now I can dump 100 primers in the tray and prime 100 cases non-stop. There's a little spring arm under the tray that tape the tray when the handle is activated which helps the primers slide down into position. So far I've got about 1,800 cases primed (large and small, rifle and pistol) with no problems...

I have the bench prime and mounted it to a 7.00 Walmart "lap desk". I can now sit in my easy chair, prime away while watching my Packers make fools of themselves!
