246 Grain .44 Spl Bullets

I have been looking for the same item.
Have plenty SWCs.
Want round nose ones.

The difference in performance of bullet weights from 240 to 250 grains is really pretty minor. It's even smaller between 245 and 250. So the Beartooth Keith bullet should prove pretty satisfactory for you. BTW, I contacted Remington about the availability of their 246 LRN as a component, and was told it was "not listed". If you want a RN, you'll likely have to find a Lyman/Ideal 429251 or 429383 (nominally 250 & 240 resp.) or other make equivalent mould and cast your own.

Happy shooting,
Larry

Jimmy it sounds like you are reloading 44 spl ? 44spl for many years used a round nose cast bullet . Lyman sells a full round nose 246 gr mold . Maybe if you purchase the mold then ask a friend to cast them . Just a thought .

Heck I just recently sold one of those round nosed Lyman molds. One of the least useful molds I had. It was a fairly accurate bullet though
