I loaded a box of the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense bullets today, and I was not very impressed. I was loading the 120gr 45 caliber version of the machines copper bullet.
I have been reloading for about 45 years, and feel that I do a rather decent job over the years. This is a bullet that I would not want to load on a regular basis!
This bullet seems to want a rolled crimp instead of a tapered crimp. The case doesn't want to cut into the bullet, and the machines groove didn't coincide with the mouth of the case. It was difficult to maintain a consistent COAL.
In my opinion, loading this bullet is more demanding than loading my precision ammo for 1000 yard F class matches.
