Local Brass Sale
My local Bass Pro Shop(northern Illinois) has a clearance sale on some
Star Line and Remington brass. At half price, I bought 2 x 100 bags of
44 Spcl for under $30. They also had 38spcl, 45 acp, and 45 Colt on clearance. It might be worth checking out as maybe it is a corporate wide
( including Cabela’s) special sale. Willyboy

Cabela's, Columbus, Ohio store has cut the reloading to 1 isle and has a brass sale going on (as of Friday)
Looks like there won't be local components available, even over priced ones! Just the internet and Catalog sales. Before Dick's shot themselves in the foot (again) they were closing out on selected reloading supplies, most item's were marked down to Midway's prices. I did find 2 boxes of bullets I could use at a better price, so they went into my stash! 100 6mm 70 gr Ballistic Tips and 250 50 gr 22 caliber Ballistic Tips.
I'm finding more & more Gun stores and Gun Departments going under, that helps me in the short run, but I fret for our collective future!

Most Ranges I go to and belong to have more once shot Brass in the 5 gallon buckets than one could ever need. I'm at the point now that I no longer even take any. Someone just starting off can harvest thousands of cases in 9mm, 45acp, 38 Special, .223, 40 S&W, .380 and once in a while .45 Colt too.

Checked my local Bass Pro, but no sale on any reloading stuff. Our BP was a Cablea's until BP bought them up. They switched it over to a BP, even changed the billboards in the area and the signs on the store. Kind of sucks for me, as a reloader. Cabela's carried far more reloading stuff than I'd ever see at BP stores, and mostly far better prices. They also had sales on the stuff quite regularly. I've not seen a sale once on bullets or primers since the buy out. And I watch the flyers carefully for that. They still carry a lot of reloading stuff, but I have a feeling it is a matter of time until the whittle that down.
So I'm switching to more mail order now for my components, too. I've noticed Midway runs some good sales/free shipping pretty regular. And their hazmat fee is only $11. Given the sales tax in my area is right around 10%, it does not take a very big purchase to make the $11 hazmat fee go away.
