Has anyone had any success using the 160gr bullets for the 45 colt, in 45 acp or 45 AR to shoot in the 625?

I wasnt sure they were long enough to shoot good in the guns.

Thanks/

I'd also be curious as to accuracy. The short stubby bullet would have an incredibly poor ballistic coefficient and such a bullet would insure inferior penetration. But cartridges loaded with these bullets certainly would have little comparative recoil unless loaded hot.

Any comments as to accuracy? I'm always in search of the next "most accurate" cast bullet design. I wouldn't buy the bullets, but I'd certainly buy a mould of that design if they shoot exceptionally well.

If you buy 100 bullets and find they work, then, buy the mold. If they don’t work, you have saved the cost of the mold.

Yes, Matt's 165-gr full .452" WCs - very accurate with the proper loads (play around and see what your gun likes with the powders you have). I was using Penn's, but we all know Bob Palermo died (may he rest in peace).

Not only do they do well in my 625-3, my Ruger New Vaquero and 1858 conversion cylinder like them, too.
