Have not, but you could easily check relative hardness with a pair of pliers. I use the Speers, and they are VERY soft.

They are swaged, so soft. Having said that Zero bullets (Roze Distribution) make top quality bullets.

I've never bought a box of them. However when you place an order with Zero you can ask for samples of something you'd like to try & I asked for some of the solid bullets once. (They usually send you about 20 bullets of each type you ask for.)

I had a bunch of extra gas checks so I added them to the bullets, since they have a nice flat base, & loaded them with 5.5gr/Unique & seated them to a COAL of 1.587". They did fine, nothing special, they shot POA=POI.

They are soft but probably about the same as Rim Rock's 158gr LSWC-HP-GC which has a BHN of 5.

Worth trying for SD loads, with some gas checks added, if that's what you like.

I have never shot the Zero bullets but they have been around a long while now and can't say I have heard anything bad including the Bullseye folks I traveled with many years ago. A fair amount of them shot the Zero and were Master Class shooters. I always used Speer. That is a very good looking bullet and should work well as to accuracy and expansion.

If you have one of your old ones, put a new and old bullet on either side of a vice and tighten to compare hardness.

Midway USA has the Speer 158 LSWCHP in stock. I have been using Midway USA for 40+ years.

I went through thousands of Zero's 158-grain RNLs at ~830 fps when I was actively shooting IDPA. They were accurate and didn't lead at that velocity, including during one class where I went through >700 rounds in a day and a half. I also went through a box of 500 of their SWC-HPs just out of curiosity with the same result.

The lube they use is very soft and is probably the reason they didn't lead. It's also sticky and gums up fingers and seating dies. I switched to standard cast RNLs for that reason, and then to Rainier plated RNs when I got a good deal on them.

I'm now a believer in coated lead bullets, but the Zero swaged bullets are good.
