Default GUN AUCTION BULLET PRICES

I went on gunbroker looking for bullets. I guess some of those folk have bullets made of gold. The prices just are unreal. One feller had 350 ea of the 9mm bullets for $200. And the bidding is still going on.

Like they say, shortage leads price gouging.

Guess I won't buy any

If bidding is happening, it's the buyers who determine the price.

If bidding is not happening, the price is too high.

Oh Hell, never mind - anyone offering any ammunition or components in an auction should be drawn and quartered. They should know that the poor, ill-informed, uneducated dolts who are willing to pay high prices need to be taken care of. Heaven forbid they be held responsible for their actions.

If these IDIOTS would simply STOP PAYING the silly prices...ALL of this would come to a swift end.

It's fun. And if I flip the pins around then it casts solids.

I know how to fill that wallet right now...

Why not sell *just a few* of those HP cast bullets for ridiculous prices?

Take a negative and turn it into a positive!

Put the money in a "primer jar" for when things calm down.

I think I may have to try this myself!

The only HP moulds I have are in .312 though, not as in demand.
The prices are silly if you're on the frontside, not so much if you've stocked up just a bit.

Grab a cup of coffee and wait it out- things will get better.

I know it hurts not to buy when you need something but you are doing the right thing. If everyone would refuse to overpay the prices would come down. everyone quotes "supply and demand" when prices go up but if we limit demand the prices will also drop, the other side of supply and demand...

Default I have had several scores lately

Some primers, some .30 cal cast bullets, .357 cartridge brass and 30-06 brass. Several boxes of 9mm ammo at the lgs, .30 caliber plinker bullets. I didn't pay an exorbitant price for anything. I do think things are looking up just a little.
