Another identification request, NEVERMIND. I've figured it out.
Does this look like the real deal or counterfiet. I assume that is difficult to tell without seeing the right side of the barrell to confirm the W.F. Also, this thing looks too good to be true and so does the box. If it is real what would today's value be?

A few years back S&W reintroduced the Scofield and it may be one of those. If it is, it is still worth quite a bit of money. If it is an original that is all to the better.
Good find either way.

I didn't see anything on the index card that told me that it was a re-issue, but with some more research I can see now that the Perfromance Center thing should have alerted me to that. So this gun isn't in anyway old. Sorry to waste your time guys, thanks.
