I recently ran across a early nickel hand ejector break open (not sure of the model) but it was a double action in .32. The timing is good, all the parts are there, but the left hand grip is cracked and the hammer won't stay back in single action. The finish is nice and it is certainly repairable, I was just wondering if its worth $125? I don't know who makes the parts to fix the gun, or what a let hand grip would average for it. (It's cracked right at the black part where it says S & W)

It sounds like a 32 Double Action top break relolver. Which model and what condition would affect the value. I suspect the parts would be cheap, and if you did the work yourself it would be a good deal. If you have to pay some one else maybe not. I'ts possible that the innards are all gunked up with a 100 years of old dried oil and who knows what else. A good soaking with degrease can sometimes cure such ails. If you decide to buy it I have a couple of extra left hand grips and would send you one cheap. Email me after you buy it if you are so inclined.
