Default One of the less common.....update with letter!

As I've said in the past, I'm not a big fan of new model one and a halfs, but, I'm always a big fan of rare variations of S&W's especially in decent condition so I may have to keep this one for a while. Enjoy!

Mike, Interesting barrel with a nice stamping on the left side. I wonder if the factory shipping records will mention that. It's probably a special order, but I've found that on these early guns, what has indications of a special order did not always get recorded in the records. Great find! Ed

That looks so good, I may have to get one, just to try it out.

That's in really nice condition. The blue is a little scarce by itself. I know short barrel length's were made but very rare. The 2 1/2" barrel is noted as being rare. One in this condition is a real prize.

Very nice! Congratulations.
How long did it take for your letter to come back? I'm waiting on 3 letters right now.

A few days shy of 10 weeks. If they keep coming back like this one, I don't care if it takes double that.

I'll drink to that! I've got my fingers crossed that one of mine was shipped to Mary Todd Lincoln or Wild Bill Hickock
