How well does a 105 year old revolver shoot?
The answer is...pretty well! This .32 Safety Hammerless Second Model shipped 105 years ago today, to E.K. Tryon Co. in Philadelphia. I acquired it recently from another member, and shooting it on its 105th birthday was quite a treat.
This was five shots at 15 feet, one handed, using Winchester ammunition. More than adequate for a pocket self-defense gun, even a century later! Not sure how 32 S&W would do on the FBI penetration test though.

That's mighty fine shootin' Tex! Did you do it with both eyes open or closed??

I have yet to take my 1903 New Departure top break .38 to the range, but it is as tight as several factory new guns I have bought over the years, and I have little doubt it will be a good shooter.
S&W made a great product, especially considering the technology of the day.
I wonder how the plastic guns will hold up over the next hundred years or so...
Tex, the .32 might not be a fireball, but that tight group would put a hurt on somebody...great shooting!
