Default 2nd Wells Fargo Schofield on Auction Arms

I just saw this gun this morning. It is interesting but it looks to be made out of two second model's, if the Wells Fargo marking is correct. I haven't seen a Wells Fargo with Pearl grips before is this correct? Here is the link:

The pearl grips are an aftermarket addition, and after Wells Fargo addition, also. It has also probably been refinished from blue to nickel, as chances of this gun being two original nickel plated military issued guns are slim. (Yes, it's made up from two Schofields.) The WF & Co stamp appears legit, however written description of the stamping is incorrect. Barrel length may have been cut a 2nd time from original cut to 5 in. by WF&Co. Ed.

Even though I'd like a Schofield of any flavor or condition, his starting price is far too high for me to even consider for a refinished piece made up of parts.
