Hi, I recently inherited a model 2 series2 topbreak in .38 cal. Mechanically perfect with 90% of nickle intact and immaculate handles. I don't want to sell it but my dad always said it was worth about $350.00. Is this about right ? I need to know so I can list it with my insurance with my other collectable guns. Thanks !! Oh, the serial # is in the 85000 range.

Without some pictures, $350.00 sounds about right. They vary from $250.00-$500.00 depending on condition. Yours sounds pretty nice and may be worth a little more. Have it checked out by a gunsmith and shoot it! I shoot mine all the time and it is a real treat!
