Default 32 Single Action followed me home.

Howdy

Just got home with this little gem. Nickel plated, really nice condition, just a bit of muzzle wear to the finish and a little bit of pin pricking here and there. The action locks up perfectly, all the numbers match, the grips look perfect and they are pencil lettered to the gun. Bore and chambers look brand, spanky new. SN is 521XX. At first I thought the half cock notch was broken, but it turns out only the first 100 had that feature. The rebounding hammer feature works too.

The photos don't really do it justice, the flash I was using created a lot of glare.

This photo is just for fun, I probably will not shoot it.

Gotta find out from Roy when it shipped.

That's a great little Mod 1 1/2 CF. I have a few of them, and have shot a couple. They can be surprisingly accurate (if you can see the sights). They have a tendency to grow on you, and I now have 12 .32 caliber S&W's. Some are RF, some are .32 Long, and one is .32 H&R Mag.

I have one, too...they are a lot of fun to shoot and the little bit of smokeless powder in those cases are no problem for it.

I'm always surprised to find these in such good working condition - it was a small, simple, reliable, well made revolver that was VERY popular long after more modern guns were available. They got a lot of carry use.
