Default Another help me date the lemon squeezer post

Hello I'm trying to date the bottom pic and find a ball park buy sell price. No model number, top break open, 32 caliber, walnut grips, SN 48112.

Thanks in advance.

It's a first model .32 Safety hammerless, made in the early to mid 1890s. If it hasn't been refinished, ball park about $350, give or take $50 . Ed.

I never liked the term Lemon Squeezer. That revolver is actually a 32 Safety, 1st Model, shipped around 1893. Average condition from what I can tell in the picture and, therefore worth around $200-$300.

Standard stocks for this model are black hard rubber, just as it appears to be in your picture. The company marked the right stock with the gun's serial number, so you could check by removing them carefully to check.
