Great looking Single Shot with the box. Any chance it's a Club Gun?
Maybe it's none of my business, but, what did all those revolvers in the back do to deserve a Time Out?

You could always send them back where they came from. I specialize in handling wayward women and handguns.

Is Model 1891 the correct nomenclature for that gun? I would have called it a .22 SS second model since it does not have the recoil shields of the revolver that are the identifying features of the first model that was built on the 1891 revolver frame.

Possible not sure - represented as a 1891 then again if it is 22SS by name.. I just as happy given the condition and package...

I'm certainly no expert on the Single shots but I do have two. One is like your gun and the other is a 3rd model. Yours is in very nice condition.

Are you trying to say that is a 124 year old pistol?

It is absolutely, positively a 2nd Model----and is NOT TOO SHABBY!!
Ralph Tremaine
In the for what it's worth department, it is also built on the Model of '91 frame----just one that has evolved into a true/pure single shot. Some will say it's what the 1st Model should have been.
