Default .38 Double Action 3rd. model 1889

I've got the answer how to remove the trigger guard on my .32 Hammerless Safety first model 1889. My question now is if the trigger guard on my .38 can be removed the same way. The reason for asking is that on my .38, there are 2 small pins located just in front of and behind trigger guard. Do I have to remove these first?

Yes, the 38 Safety trigger guard comes off the same way as the 32. The front pin is the trigger pin and the rear pin is the cylinder stop pin. Neither affect the way the guard is removed.
