Just acquired a .32 RF Mod. 1 1/2 2nd Issue. Nickle plating on frame and barrel is pretty good, I would rate 96%, but cylinder has a lot of lost area and area's of where there was rust. At best 50% on cylinder. The action is surprisingly tight, and fully functional. There is just one ding in the bottom of the rosewood stocks, otherwise excellent. It shows very little evidence of being fired. What would cause the cylinder to have so much more nickle loss than the frame, and so much rust, residue from corrosive ammo?

Yep...storage is it but...I'm thinking you're not gonna look that good when you're 140 years old.
