Default New to me blued .32 New Departure question- 2nd Model?

I picked up this blued New Departure today, finish, bore and grips are very nice, has a touch of muzzle wear (I just put some ballistol on it hence the spotty spots) I'm betting this was a sock-drawer gun for most of its life. Serial number is 99571. I dont know a tremendous amount about these- I am guessing its a second model and would date from about 1902-09? Since this is well into the smokeless era- would I be good to fire some commerial .32 S&W from it? I see Magtech and Fiocchi makes it

Don't guess. It's a 2nd Model, .32 Safety Hammerless and in very nice condition. Your estimate of the date of manufacture is correct. I do not know the loading data for either Magtech or Fiocchi so I can't attest to their use in a Top Break revolver.

The32 S&W round is pretty much a pipsqueek. I would have no problem shooting those in your revolver with smokeless rounds.

I've shot these Winchesters through my 3rd Model New Departure. As mentioned above they are very light loads. No worries.
