NEW GUY HOPE YOU CAN HELP. S&W 38 BREAK BARREL.NICKLE plated 3 in barrel ser. #45528 or 43328 IT IS HARD TO READ. GUN APPEARS TO BE ABOUT 60 PERCENT. ANY.INFO ON MODEL,AGE,VALUE, WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE. WRINKLES

Photograph would be VERY helpful. Exact info on any markings on gun would not be amiss either.

Hi There,
Welcome to The Group!
Some pictures would be helpful. From your description, it is
hard to tell which model you have. You say it is .38 but not
the type of action (single or double action). You say "BREAK
BARREL." I assume you mean it is a Top Brake type. With a
little more info, we could be more specific.

A top break with a 3" barrel is a 32 s&w. The 38 s&w has a 3 1/4" barrel
