What do these stocks go to???
I purchased a box full of grips/stocks. Lots of Colt, S&W, Sile, Iver Johnson etc... most I can identify, but these, I’m having a tough time. I think they are square-butt K frame. They look like hard rubber, but on the back there is a wood grain.
Any help would be great!

Those look like a set of pre war S&W .38 hand ejector grips made by the old NC Ordnance Co. I have a set just like them, except mine are for and N frame.

Post a picture of he back sides. Also, try cleaning the medallion area with alcohol, or paint thinner, etc. I think they are wood.

Agree, they appear to be replicas made from a casting of 1910 decade K frame stock panels. The escutcheons look too new for 100 + year old stocks.

They are not I'm pretty sure. They look like they are a hard plastic of the type you can buy today from an outfit deceptively called "Vintage Gun Grips".
They look worn, and like wood, because to make them they appear to have just molded a set of well worn and beat up old original set. In fact when you buy them they are molded in such a way that the mold includes the escutcheons, which you have to then drill out and add your own to just to be able to use them.

I agree that they are modern replicas. I bought a set of them some years ago for a 1930s N-frame. I do believe the name of the company was indeed Vintage Gun Grips. I was disappointed in them. Fit was poor and they just don't feel right. I can't remember what I did with them and frankly don't care.

I think you hit the nail on the head!! I did the old scratch test on the back of one of the stocks and it is definitely plastic. Then, I borrowed some of my wife’s acetone based nail polish removers and nothing came off the “medallions”. Thanks so much for your help!

Also in the box we’re these stock sets. One looks to be S&W K frame and another looks to be an aftermarket set for the same model but made by a company called Sile? I’m not familiar with them. Do these look legit?

The first set (S&W) are Magna stocks from 1973 or later. That's when the retaining washer went to stainless steel on all Magna and Target stocks.
The Siles are imported (I think) aftermarket stocks, and generally are fairly well made.

Yeah, those are indeed Siles, made in Italy. Not bad, but not particularly great either. They are good if you just need some grips for shooting.

Very much junk drawer.
In both cases the only real use they have is to put them on a shooter grade gun when you don't want to damage nice grips.
The Siles are at least wood, but they are very common and cheap to begin with.
I should note that both the Siles and the "Vintage" are commonly sold to the unwitting, thinking they are getting something they are not. They are grips that when they have ended up in my possession just go to my junk box never to emerge because of this.

The pictures aren't particularly clear, but those seem to be in decent shape, so are probably worth about $40-$60 on eBay.
One thing I forgot to mention earlier is they are actually PC Magnas. They would have shipped on a Model 10 during the time frame I stated previously.

I have never seen Sile grips offered for sale as anything other than Siles.
They are not original S&W grips ; don't pretend to be. They are a good value for what they are - non-original replacements at a reasonable price.
