Default Grips and Magic

A couple of months ago my custom ordered grips came in and I was challenged as to what gun should wear them, one of my 1926 44s or my favorite 38/44 with the humpback hammer. The grips and finish were made to order with me furnishing the large silver medallions from an old 1937 Brazil contract set of grips and Schofieldkid81, providing a huge talent necessary to craft a prewar set of service grips with factory type finish. I can not say enough about the quality of the work done, the photos speak volumes. We truly have some great talent in our Forum and Schofield is one. Share some photos if you have some of them.

Steve made me these Smooth Non Relieved N Frame Target Stocks and installed the Pre War Medallions I supplied. They reside on a 38/44 Outdoorsman Transitional.

He is currently crafting me a similar pair and repairing a set of Pre War N Magnas that were in sad shape.

These are absolutely beautiful! What kind of wood is that? It has nice figure hiding under that terrific checkering.

That's magic right there. An absolutely fantastic replication. Hat's off.
