Question on Lawrence 120 holster
I was wondering if one of the forum experts on vintage holsters could tell me what a Lawrence 120 in used but good condition would be worth. I know some folks are quite interested in the Lawrence holsters and leather gear. This one is for a 4" K frame, unlined, with thumb snap retention strap. It is very similar to my EPS Tom Threepersons for my 4" N frames. I know the Lawrence co was around for a long time, and a lot of their holsters are collectable now. Just wondering what this one should run.
The back says
120

I could have and should have bought one for a 4" N Frame at the last Tulsa show foe $50. The holster I had built in the style of the 120 that you and I spoke about on the phone was over $200, so anywhere in between.

Wow! I have a George Lawrence marked 25 above the logo. Below the logo 2 and then 5 1/2. It was a throw in with a model 28 no dash that I bought a couple of years ago.
How much is it worth if a 4 inch was going for $200?

The Lawrence size code 543 indicates that the holster was made to fit an S&W Model 10 (M&P) with a 4-inch barrel.

Randy,
I didnt mean to say the 120's are going for $200. That was the price I paid for a custom holster maker build me one. For an original I would expect $75-$100 would be in the ballpark if it is in good shape. It would also depend on what it fits.

The 102 came with my 1950's pre-27 and I presume it's about the same vintage. As a 5" N-Frame I'm sure it would be difficult to preplace and they make a fine holster.
But I'd have a hard time paying more than $50 for a 4" K-frame 102, and $200 for an unlined custom sound very high to me? a Three Persons, El Paso Saddlery could be had for $75, lined!
