New Kit Gun Holster
I just found a new holster in my mailbox. It was made by Mike Johnson from Hope Arkansas. I found him pretty much by accident on Ebay while searching for a 4" I/J frame holster for my kit gun. I found out first hand how hard it is to find a 4" J frame holster. His work seems to be a pretty good value as this specimen was $30 shipped to my door. This is a J frame holster so the I frame is just a tiny bit loose, but it is still a firm enough fit that the gun will not come out with the strap snapped in place. The holster is also lined with soft glove leather, not that my old gun is worried too much about blueing wear.

Wow, nice holster! I've been looking for one for a 33-1 that I have, do you have a link to his shop?

A link would be appreciated, or perhaps a user ID name.
Thank you.

You got it!
From this link to my auction you should be able to glean all the info to reach him. When I corresponded with him the replies were always cordial but somewhat cryptic. I pulled the trigger while still a little blind, but I'm glad that I did.
SMITH & WESSON J FRAME 4" THUMBBREAK HOLSTER - eBay (item 250632438773 end time May-18-10 09:10:58 PDT)
I did watch his auctions a a few weeks and he seems to post them as a group and roughly bi-weekly.
One thing though, I'm still going to buy one of his .22 belt ammo pouches with the S&W logo, so you can't out bid me.

Cat's Meow
I've been chasing 3" and 4" J frame holsters for some time now. I know Bianchi makes a very nice BHL I believe. That holster of yours is the Cat's Meow. Very Nice. beaver
