Nice find. By the way how did you get the gold out ?. I tried the usual on my 14-3 and nothing works. Did you heat the frame first ? Thanks Richard

I liberally applied Hoppe's, let it sit for about 15 minutes and then gently worked on it with a brass brush. It formed a gold goo as I brushed and it wiped off. I was planning on trying nail polish remover next, but didn't need to.

It had about a pint of Gibbs on it and the lettering was filled with gold colored **** (I got most of it off). Been looking for a K-22 shooter and this will do nicely!
