Pre-10 with S serial number $949 ??
Saw a Pre-10 with S serial number priced for $949 at a pusher, herein West KY. Blue looked excellent. Screw holes did not seem to be dished - likely not reblued.
I did not reach for may wallet.
I anybody thinks this is a fair price PM me for shop info.

You can probably buy two of them, at that price, at most western gun shows! Ed.

With the multitude of M&Ps out there that is about three times what it's worth.

I picked up my 2 inch 2 weeks ago for $350 with 92% finish. So not much of a deal.

I'm visualizing something that looks really nice, so I'm in the "twice too much" crowd with Ed. If the finish is not as fine in reality as it is in my mind, I could agree that the asking price is nearly three times what it ought to be.
Pistola, made me laugh. Five points.

Thanks to all for confirming my sanity and decision.
< One word.......Pass.>
I agree. Decided to pass when I saw the price tag.
Posted in case someone knew a reason that MIGHT justify such a price.
IF I wanted a Pre-10, $300 would be my limit for this one.
