Triple lock advice needed
I am going tomorrow to look at a triple lock with a bobbed hammer. If all else looks good, is the hammer interchangable with other pre-war N-frames?
Thanks,
Bob #946

Any long action N-Frame hammer will work, so long as you upgrade the trigger as well. The action in your T/L uses a single stage D/A hammer/trigger setup, and both parts are unique to that action.

I was hoping it to be an original four inch 44 Special. It turned out to be a cut down 455 Mark I in fair condition. It went for $500 at auction, but not to me.
