You know, you could probably open a can of Wolf chili with that front sight!

I like it!

I thought I had seen everything used as a prop. Even saw someone use a FILE once. But never a Morocco. Nice revolver too, thanks for showing it.

Dang, I know I'm not supposed to, but I covet that 1950!

And, Jeb, I'm not sure, but I think that's a maraca.

Cheers,

Bob

ps: I really like that handgun "bookshelf" in the background, too.

I'm glad it was you that got it Bigl1911. I was going to bid on it but would be out of the country when the auction went down.
A beautiful gun at a reasonable (in my opinion) price. Congratulations.

Of the five 45acp revolvers I own, the model 1950 is by far my favorite shooter. Shoot it. Enjoy it. Try not to drool on it. You have a really nice gun. Yours being a 45 Colt makes it really rare. I believe only about 200 of those were ever made.

Thanks.. I got really lucky.. Kinda surprised it didn't go higher considering. I think some people are just not into a refinished gun even by the factory. In this case the gun is so rare at 200 who know how many are out there... The other Smith a 357 tradition at 140 plus made went same auction day not great condition for 15.5k. Different gun and history but still... I plan on shooting it and will post a range report..

Love the revolver! Thought the prop was just a piece of wood with paint on it.

Very nice. I love .45 Colt. The diamond grips immediately set that five screw apart.
