Default 1946 S&W

All.
I got a friendly little poke today about not having a 1946 K22. I don't, but I keep looking. I do have a 1946 S&W. Maybe this will make up for it.

"Bill, .44 H. E. serial number S68675 was shipped in August 1946. I hope that this helps. Roy"

Dont feel bad as there were only about 613 K22's made in 1946.

Just found my first 1947 and that took a while to do.
Have faith as in time they all come to you.
Best regards
Brad

This is what you're looking for right?

I'll keep an eye out for you and if I find K118 or higher, I'll send it your way!....

Just another friendly poke....

Nice .44 you got there! You do have me whipped on 1946 N-Frames...

Is one is 271 frames newer...

Brother Drew...

Talking Just for you Jerry!

I know you'll like this one....

A very late (1940) pre-war flat top in a (wrong era) "Display" Box...

Enjoy!

Very nice pre war M&P,

While researching the pre war M&P 4th I was surprised to read that square butts are the minority worthy of a slight premium ,
Kinda surprised me as I see more square butts than round.
Also prefer the square butt unless its a snub.

Engine49.

The above revolver is actually a .44 Hand Ejector 2nd Model in .44 Special, an N-Frame gun....
